Our Commitment to Child Safety
Barzo is committed to maintaining a safe environment and preventing child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). As a social networking application that connects adults through shared experiences at venues and events, we maintain strict standards to protect all users and prevent any form of child exploitation.
Age Requirements and Verification
Minimum Age Requirement: 21 Years
All users must verify they are at least 21 years of age to create and maintain an account on the Barzo platform. This age requirement is strictly enforced through:
Mandatory age declaration during the registration process
Ongoing monitoring and enforcement
Zero Tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation
Barzo maintains a zero-tolerance policy for any content, behavior, or activity that constitutes child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This includes but is not limited to:
Grooming of minors for sexual exploitation
Sextortion involving minors
Trafficking of minors for sexual purposes
Any sexually explicit content involving minors
Attempts to solicit, share, or distribute child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
Any behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children
Community Reporting and Enforcement
User Responsibility: All Barzo users are encouraged and expected to report any accounts suspected of belonging to individuals under 21 years of age or any suspicious activity that may indicate CSAE.
Reporting Mechanisms: Users can report concerns through multiple in-app channels:
Direct account reporting feature
Content reporting system
Direct communication with our customer support team
Investigation and Response: Our dedicated customer service team immediately investigates all reports regarding:
Suspected underage users
Inappropriate content or behavior
Potential CSAE activities
Upon receiving reports, we:
Immediately suspend suspected accounts pending investigation and remove content
Conduct thorough verification of user age and identity
Remove users found to be under 21 years of age or sharing inappropriate content
Report suspected CSAE to appropriate authorities
Preserve evidence as required by law
Content Monitoring and Moderation
Comprehensive Monitoring: All content and communications on the Barzo platform are subject to monitoring through:
Content screening systems
Community-driven reporting mechanisms
Regular manual reviews by our moderation team
Proactive identification of suspicious activities
Community Reporting: Every community member has the ability and responsibility to report:
Inappropriate content
Suspicious user behavior
Suspected underage users
Potential CSAE activities
Response to Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)
Immediate Action Protocol: When Barzo obtains actual knowledge of CSAM on our platform, we:
Immediately remove the content and suspend associated accounts
Preserve evidence in accordance with legal requirements
Report incidents to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and appropriate law enforcement agencies
Cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations
Implement additional safeguards to prevent recurrence
Legal Compliance: Barzo complies with all applicable laws regarding CSAM, including but not limited to:
Reporting requirements to NCMEC
Evidence preservation obligations
Cooperation with law enforcement investigations
International legal frameworks for child protection
Enforcement and Account Actions
Immediate account suspension for suspected CSAE activities
Permanent account termination for confirmed violations
Law enforcement reporting as required by law
Legal action when appropriate
Transparency and Accountability
Regular Policy Review: We regularly review and update our child safety standards to ensure they remain effective and align with industry best practices and legal requirements.
Staff Training: All Barzo team members receive comprehensive training on:
Identifying potential CSAE activities
Proper response protocols
Legal reporting requirements
